Experience the ultimate natural radiance. Our Turmeric and Honey soap is more than just a cleanser—it’s a daily ritual for brighter, smoother, and more even-toned skin. Handcrafted in small batches using the traditional cold process method

Why Your Skin Will Love It:

The Golden Glow: Infused with organic turmeric, known for its powerful anti-inflammatory properties, this bar helps reduce redness and naturally brightens dark spots.

Deep Hydration: Pure, raw honey acts as a natural humectant, locking moisture into your skin while providing a gentle, antibacterial cleanse.

The Cold Process Difference: We cure our soap for 4–6 weeks, resulting in a long-lasting, hard bar with a rich, creamy lather that never leaves your skin feeling stripped or dry.

100% Clean Ingredients: No synthetic fragrances, sulfates, or parabens. Just plant-based oils and earth-derived goodness.

Pro Tip: For the best results on the face, let the lather sit for 30 seconds before rinsing to allow the turmeric and honey to work their magic.

Scent Profile

Because there are no essential oils or fragrance oils to mask the base, you’ll get a very subtle, "clean" scent. Here is what you can expect:

The Raw Aroma Profile

Earthiness: Turmeric provides a very faint, warm, and woody undertone. It isn't pungent like the spice in your kitchen, but it adds a grounding quality to the soap's base.

Warm Sweetness: The honey undergoes a chemical change during the saponification process (the "cook"). It often results in a light, toasted sugar or caramelized scent rather than a floral nectar smell.

Creamy Base: Since this is cold process, you'll primarily smell the oils and butters used (like olive oil, coconut oil, or shea butter). This usually smells like "plain soap"—neutral, fatty, and mild.

Why Turmeric?

1. Therapeutic Skin Benefits

The primary reason for its popularity is Curcumin, the active compound in turmeric.

Anti-Inflammatory: It helps soothe skin conditions like eczema, psoriasis, and rosacea by reducing redness and irritation.

Antibacterial & Antimicrobial: It is frequently used in "acne bars" to help combat the bacteria that cause breakouts.

Antioxidant Power: Curcumin helps neutralize free radicals, which can assist in protecting the skin from environmental stressors and premature aging.

Complexion Brightening: Traditionally, turmeric is used to even out skin tone and diminish the appearance of dark spots or hyperpigmentation.

2. Gentle Exfoliation

If you add the turmeric powder directly to the soap batter (rather than straining an infusion), the fine grains provide a very mild, gentle exfoliation that is typically safe for facial use.

Benefits to the Skin

Role In soap

Organic Olive Oil

Rich in antioxidants and Vitamin E.

It provides a gentle, smooth "slip" and

ensures the bar is mild enough for faces.

The "moisture king." It provides a gentle, conditioning lather that doesn't strip the skin's natural oils.

Organic Coconut Oil

Creates large, fluffy bubbles and provides the "deep clean" necessary to wash away daily grime and excess sebum.

The "cleanser." This ensures the bar is hard enough to last and creates those big, satisfying bubbles.

Local Buckwheat Honey

Honey is a powerful humectant, meaning it attracts moisture from the air and binds it to the skin.

The natural sugars in honey act as a lather booster.

Turmeric

Turmeric is widely celebrated for its ability to reduce hyperpigmentation. It's anti-inflammatory and offers antioxidant protection. This is all thanks to the curcumin, a bioactive compound with potent biological properties.

It's a natural and reliable colourant.

How to Use

Lather up with warm water. For the longest-lasting bar, allow the soap to dry completely between uses on a well-draining soap dish.

Using a handmade Turmeric and Honey cold process soap is slightly different from using a standard store-bought bar, mainly because of the natural ingredients and the way it’s formulated to benefit the skin.

Here is the best way to use it to get the most out of those skin-loving properties:

The "60-Second Rule"

Because turmeric and honey have therapeutic properties (anti-inflammatory and humectant), you shouldn't just rinse them off immediately.

Wet your skin with lukewarm water.

Lather the bar in your hands or on a washcloth.

Massage into the skin for about 30 to 60 seconds. This gives the curcumin in the turmeric and the moisture-binding sugars in the honey time to actually interact with your skin.

⚠️ Product Cautions

Safety & Care Cautions

For External Use Only: While the bar may look and smell great, this bar is for skin application only. Do not ingest.

Patch Test Recommended: If you have sensitive skin or allergies, we recommend performing a small patch test on your inner forearm before full-body use.

Surface Safety: Because this soap contains natural oils, it may make your tub or shower floor slightly slippery. Use caution when stepping in and out.

Care Instructions

Handmade cold process soap contains natural glycerin, which is a humectant (it pulls moisture from the air). If you leave this bar in a puddle of water in the shower, it will turn into "mush" much faster than a commercial bar.

Solution: Use a draining soap dish (one with slats or ridges) so the bar can dry out completely between uses. This can double the life of your soap!
