This is a minimalist, slatted soap dish crafted from bamboo. 

If you're using cold process soap, a slatted dish isn't just a style choice—it’s practically a requirement. Cold process soaps are naturally high in glycerin, which is a "humectant" (it attracts moisture). While that's great for your skin, it means the soap can turn into a puddle of mush if it sits in water.

1. Superior Air Circulation

Cold process soap needs to "breathe" to stay hard. A slatted dish allows air to circulate around the entire bar, including the bottom. This helps the soap re-harden quickly after each use, maintaining the integrity of the bar's structure.

2. Maximum Drainage

Unlike ceramic or plastic dishes with solid bottoms (even those with "nubs"), a slatted bamboo dish ensures that water pulls away from the bar immediately.
