Handmade Canadian Flag Soap - Unscented Red Clay & Kaolin Clay Bar

So this batch of the Canadian Flag didn't turn out perfectly! Lets assume the flag is blowing in the wind! If you follow along on TikTok, you would have seen me make this soap and noticed the batter set up really quickly, that's why the second layer is wavy, it was too thick to lay down straight. This soap is naturally coloured with red moroccan clay and left unscented. It also has shea butter for a nice soft conditioning lather!

Why Moroccan Red Clay?

1. Gentle Detoxification

Unlike some clays that can be overly drying (like Bentonite), Moroccan Red Clay is rich in minerals like magnesium and silica. It acts like a magnet for toxins and excess oils, but it does so without stripping the skin's natural moisture barrier. This makes it ideal for the sensitive skin demographic you're targeting with an unscented bar.  

2. Incredible "Slip" and Texture

In the soap world, we talk a lot about "slip." This clay provides a smooth, almost velvety glide when the bar is wet.

• Shaving: Because of this slip, Moroccan Red Clay soaps are often used as shaving bars.  

• Lather: It doesn't kill the bubbles; instead, it makes the lather feel denser and more "lotion-like."

• No Bleeding: Unlike red micas or dyes, which can sometimes "bleed" into the white parts of your soap (turning your white Kaolin stripes pink!), Moroccan Red Clay stays put.

How to Use

Lather with warm water and massage into skin. Our unscented formula is enriched with natural sugars and proteins—allow the lather to remain on the skin for 30 seconds before rinsing for maximum hydration.

• Patch Test Recommended: If you have sensitive skin or allergies, we recommend performing a small patch test on your inner forearm before full-body use.

• Surface Safety: Because this soap contains natural oils, it may make your tub or shower floor slightly slippery. Use caution when stepping in and out.

Care Instructions

Because this soap is made the old-fashioned way, it’s a little different than the "big brand" bars. This bar contains natural glycerin, which attracts moisture. To extend the life of your soap, always use a draining soap dish and allow the bar to dry completely between uses.
