Experience the luxury of a truly clean cleanse. Our Unscented Cold Process Soap is handcrafted for those who believe that less is more. By stripping away synthetic fragrances and dyes, we’ve allowed the premium, skin-loving oils to take center stage.

Why Your Skin Will Love It

We’ve carefully balanced four powerhouse ingredients to create a bar that is as functional as it is indulgent:

Shea Butter: Packed with vitamins and fatty acids, it provides a moisture-rich barrier that leaves skin feeling soft, not stripped.

Olive Oil: The ultimate "skin food" that provides a gentle, conditioning wash suitable for even the most sensitive complexions.

Coconut Oil: The engine behind the deep clean, ensuring every wash is effective and refreshing.

Castor Oil: Our secret weapon for a rich, creamy, and stable lather that feels like velvet against your skin.

Scent Profile

This bar contains no essential oils or synthetic fragrances.

Why use castor oil in soap?

In the world of soap making, Castor Oil is considered a "performance booster." While most oils are used for hardness or cleansing, castor oil is unique because it’s almost entirely composed of ricinoleic acid, which isn't found in any other common soap-making fat.

1. The "Lather Booster"

This is its primary job. On its own, coconut oil creates large, fluffy bubbles, but they can be fleeting and disappear quickly. Castor oil acts as a stabilizer—it makes those bubbles dense, creamy, and long-lasting. Without it, an unscented bar can feel "thin"; with it, the soap feels like a high-end lotion.

2. Deep Moisturization (Humectant Properties)

Castor oil is a natural humectant, meaning it draws moisture from the air toward the skin. In a cold process bar:

• It works in tandem with Shea Butter to create a protective barrier.

• It helps offset the high cleansing power of coconut oil, ensuring the bar doesn't leave the skin feeling "tight" or "ashy."

3. Accelerated Saponification

For the soap maker, castor oil helps the oils and lye water "trace" (emulsify) a bit faster. It creates a very reliable, homogenous batter, which is especially helpful when you aren't using fragrance oils that might otherwise speed up or slow down the process.

4. Silkiness & "Slip"

Castor oil gives the finished bar a distinct "slip." This makes the soap feel silky as you rub it between your hands, and it provides enough lubrication that some people even use high-castor bars for shaving.

Benefit to the skin

Role in the soap

Olive Oil

Rich in antioxidants and Vitamin E.

It provides a gentle, smooth "slip" and

ensures the bar is mild enough for faces.

The Conditioner

Organic Coconut Oil

Creates large, fluffy bubbles and provides

the "deep clean" necessary to wash away

daily grime and excess sebum.

The Cleanser

Shea Butter

It is rich in fatty acids that mimic the

skin's natural lipids, sealing in moisture

without feeling greasy. High levels of

Vitamins A and E promote cell

regeneration and help soften rough

patches (ideal for elbows and knuckles).

The Luxury Healer

Castor Oil

Acts as a natural humectant to draw

moisture to the skin and turns the

Guinness proteins into a thick,

marshmallow-like foam.

The Lather Booster

How to Use

Lather with warm water and massage into skin. Our unscented formula is enriched with natural sugars and proteins—allow the lather to remain on the skin for 30 seconds before rinsing for maximum hydration.

⚠️ Product Cautions

For External Use Only: While the bar may look and smell great, this bar is for skin application only. Do not ingest.

Patch Test Recommended: If you have sensitive skin or allergies, we recommend performing a small patch test on your inner forearm before full-body use.

Surface Safety: Because this soap contains natural oils, it may make your tub or shower floor slightly slippery. Use caution when stepping in and out.

Care Instructions

Because this soap is made the old-fashioned way, it’s a little different than the "big brand" bars. This bar contains natural glycerin, which attracts moisture. To extend the life of your soap, always use a draining soap dish and allow the bar to dry completely between uses.

Storage: Not using it yet? Keep it in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
