By replacing water with authentic Guinness Draught, we’ve created a bar that is exceptionally moisturizing and rich in antioxidants.

This isn't your average bar of soap. We’ve taken the skin-softening power of Guinness Draught and the detoxifying strength of activated charcoal, then infused them with a sophisticated blend of Balsam Fir and Juniper Berry essential oils. The result is a bar that smells like a morning hike through a damp evergreen forest and lathers like a freshly poured pint.

The Active Additives

• Authentic Guinness Stout: Replaces water in the saponification process, infusing the bar with B vitamins, minerals, and skin-softening amino acids from hops and barley.

• Activated Charcoal: Provides the deep, obsidian color and medicinal-grade detoxification to draw out impurities from pores.

Scent Profile

The scent profile of Balsam Fir and Juniper—piney, crisp, and slightly medicinal—perfectly complements the dark, malty nature of the Guinness. Combining Guinness with those specific essential oils creates a scent profile that is earthy, rugged, and surprisingly sophisticated.

The "Forest Floor" Effect: The Balsam Fir provides that classic outdoorsy scent, while the Juniper adds a botanical brightness that prevents the soap from smelling too "heavy."

Why Beer Soap?

It’s not just a novelty; it’s a skincare powerhouse. The hops in Guinness contain skin-softening amino acids that help soothe irritation, while the brewer's yeast acts as a natural antibacterial agent. Beer is brewed with hops, which contain polyphenols and amino acids.  

• Anti-Inflammatory: Hops are known for their sedative and soothing properties, which can help calm irritated or red skin.  

• Softening: The proteins in the malted barley help condition the skin, leaving it feeling "silky" rather than "squeaky" (which usually means "stripped").

 Vitamin B Complex

Beer is naturally rich in B vitamins (like B2, B3, B6, and B12) and biotin.

• Skin Barrier: Vitamin B helps the skin retain moisture and supports the natural lipid barrier, which perfectly complements your Tallow and Shea Butter.

Natural Color & Aesthetic

Guinness, specifically, provides a deep, malty base color.

• Even without the Activated Charcoal, the beer would turn the soap a beautiful tan or light chocolate color.

• When combined with charcoal, it creates a "Stout Black" that feels authentic to the brand.

How to Use

Lather with warm water and massage into skin. Our unscented formula is enriched with natural sugars and proteins—allow the lather to remain on the skin for 30 seconds before rinsing for maximum hydration.

• For External Use Only: While the bar may look and smell great, this bar is for skin application only. Do not ingest.

• Patch Test Recommended: If you have sensitive skin or allergies, we recommend performing a small patch test on your inner forearm before full-body use.

• Surface Safety: Because this soap contains natural oils, it may make your tub or shower floor slightly slippery. Use caution when stepping in and out.

Care Instructions

Because this soap is made the old-fashioned way, it’s a little different than the "big brand" bars. This bar contains natural glycerin, which attracts moisture. To extend the life of your soap, always use a draining soap dish and allow the bar to dry completely between uses.
