What is sisal?
Sisal is a durable natural fibre harvested from the sword-shaped leaves of the Agave Sisalana plant. The Agave Sisalana plant is native to southern Mexico and grown in hot, dry regions worldwide.
Why is a sisal soap bag better than a plastic shower poof?
Sisal is better than plastic because it is a 100% natural, biodegradable plant fibre that breaks down cleanly. Sisal sheds organic plant cellulose as it wears down; no micro-plastics. It is also a renewable resource that grows with minimal water with little to no chemical irrigation.

How to use a sisal bag
A sisal bag replaces a plastic poof, wash cloth or loofah in the shower. Wet your sisal soap bag, pop a soap in it and massage. You'll be able to work up a beautiful lather that you can apply to your body.
When I'm done washing, I take the soap out of the bag, rinse the bag and hang it to dry. My husband leaves his soap inside his bag and hangs it up to dry.
Our sisal bags are available on their own, or filled with soap scraps-we call these mystery bundles and they are available in both plant based and tallow.
Hope this helped!
